When your desktop is set to a higher or lower DPI some older games can cause issues with screensize and only show the top left of the screen. The game is much more enjoyable being able to just let the screensaver do its job and farm you some shells from your personal aquarium :) It's one of my favorite parts of the game, since I've always loved aquarium screensavers in general.I know this is a really old thread, but perhaps I can help new buyers who have this issue. If you experience problems with Windows "forgetting" the screensaver later, try copying and running Insaniquarium.scr directly from System32 along with the Properties. By copying the "Properties" folder over, the program is able to find it and run properly after windows routes it through. That's because I think newer Windows OS automatically routes it through System32, since that's where the default screensavers are stored. But when you apply it as your screensaver, it crashes. So when you run it manually from the game files, it works. What I think is happening is: the screensaver only works if the "Properties" folder is in the same folder as the screensaver file. I've tested it thoroughly and it works like a charm, stays synced with the game. Go back to the local files for the game and run "Insaniquarium.scr" This will open your screensaver settings and automatically add the screensaver.
Paste the "Properties" Folder into your System32 folder and SysWOW64 folder. Go into "Browse Local Files" to view all the game files. So here's the solution I found through some trial and error. I noticed a few people struggling to get the screensaver to work, and was surprised by how complex some of the workarounds were.
